Kingdom Series part 3

RIGHTEOUSNESS

Matthew 6:33 (KJV)
Seek ye first the kingdom of God and His RIGHTEOUSNESS and all these things will be added to you.

But seek (aim at and strive after) first of all His kingdom and His righteousness (His way of doing and being right), and then all these (things) taken together will be given you besides.

Steep your life in God-reality, God-initiatives, God-provisions.

If you are reading this and you are Born Again then you are no longer just a mere man or woman.  Your natural existence as you knew it is no more.  If everything you are doing is fundamental to your being a human you are missing the whole point of your being saved.

Because of the kingdom of God and the supernatural power of God delegated to you through the righteousness that is in Christ Jesus you now are a force to be reckoned with.

Now there are several kingdom realities that make this true for you today but in this writing I want to focus on Righteousness as the Force that gives you power in heaven and on earth.

In our "Kingdom Intensive" this past Tuesday evening we discovered that "religion slows you up."  Religion makes you move at the pace of your spiritual leaders, the denomination or whatever your particular group.  The kingdom of God moves at its own pace.  The speed of the kingdom is as fast as God's intentions for man and is made sure by man's faith in what God has done.  Let me use this example.  When Philipp was sent to the Ethiopian Eunuch to help that Ethiopian understand scripture, and was baptised, immediately Phillip was translated somewhere else.  No soon he had fulfilled the will of the Lord for that encounter with the Ethiopian the Lord moved him through space and time to another destination, another assignment for the glory of God.

Phillip was not submitted to religion.  He was submitted to the Messiah King, His kingdom and the righteousness ascribed to him by Christ.  Phillip and the other disciples, even as many people who were scattered abroad all went everywhere preaching the kingdom of God and compelling men to be saved so that they could experience both the kingdom government Jesus the Messiah had come with as the Son of David, and the kingdom to come.  This kingdom concept was foundational to the early Christians thinking and life in submission to the Lordship of Jesus.

Right thinking produces right results.  Your righteousness as given to you by Jesus is a force designed to defeat the enemy at every turn.  Righteousness is a force that enables you to confidently advance on the enemy and spoil his goods.

Righteousness is right standing with God which positions you for supernatural access into the power and provision of God for His own divine purpose and your destiny.

1 Corinthians 1:30 (Amplified)
But it is from Him that you have your life in Christ Jesus, Whom God made our Wisdom
from God, [revealed to us a knowledge of the divine plan of salvation previously hidden, manifesting itself as] our RIGHTEOUSNESS [thus making us upright and putting us in right standing with God], and our Consecration [making us pure and holy], and our Redemption [providing our ransom from eternal penalty for sin].

Righteousness is the greatest blessing of being Born Again.  Religion would say that the greatest blessing is that you get to go to heaven.  The reality is, that because of the New Birth heaven lives in you.

The righteousness you now have is not of you.  You cannot produce the righteousness of God.  True righteousness is not effected by what you wear, what you eat and what you do or don't do.  True righteousness comes by way of the Father confering on you what the Son had on Him.  You see, your own righteousness is as filthy rags.  Its is the righteousness that you have in Christ which is a force of power to overcome the enemy on every occassion in every situation.

When you are walking in God's way of doing and being right you can successfully advance the kingdom of God on the enemy's territory.

Its' through the righteounsess of Christ that you now rule and reign in this life.

Romans 5:17 (KJV)
For if by one man's offence death reigned by one; much more they which receive abundance of grace and of the GIFT OF RIGHTEOUSNESS shall reign in life by one Jesus Christ.

To reign in the New Testament means to rule, to dominate, to have authority.  It is the act of ruling.

You are a ruler now because the force of rulership, the gift of riighteousness has been made available to you.

So, righteousness is a force that enables you to dominate over sin and all the works of the enemy.

Religion slows you up.  Keeps you coming back for another ray of hope.  The kingdom moves you in dimensions of His glory according to His divine purpose.  As you keep receiving and embracing these kingdom teachings you are going to find yourself moving at a rate of speed that was previously unthinkable in religious circles.

Walk in God's way of doing and being right.  Its' a force designed to bring you victory in every endeavor.

SATAN IS DEFEATED!  DARKNESS IS DISPELLED, BECAUSE JESUS IS LORD!!!
